Your data stays with you
Sending your miners' stats to an online service, it's fair to ask what leaves your home. By default, axeos-dashboard obfuscates everything personal before the push — your wallet, your pools, your local network. hashboard only receives what it takes to draw your board.
What hashboard receives
- Hashrate, chip temperature and fan speed
- Power draw and efficiency (J/TH)
- Accepted and rejected shares, best difficulty, uptime
- Firmware version, model and the name you gave the miner
- Whether the miner is on its primary or fallback pool
What is obfuscated before the push
The field stays, its value is replaced by "xxxxxxxx" (0 for a port). hashboard never receives the real value, doesn't store it and so can never expose it — not even on a public board.
| Your wallet / pool user | xxxxxxxx |
|---|---|
| Your pools (address and port) | xxxxxxxx, port 0 |
| Your miners' IP address | a made-up address derived from the MAC address, like fd00::aabb:ccdd:eeff — it says nothing about your network |
| Your Wi-Fi network name | xxxxxxxx, always |
| Your miners' IPv6 address | xxxxxxxx, always |
You choose what to share
Your wallet, your pools and your miners' IP are obfuscated by default. To see them on your board, turn them on one by one in axeos-dashboard, Settings › Remote. Each setting applies from the next reading, and you can turn it back off at any time.
What never leaves your network
Obfuscation only touches the push: your axeos-dashboard keeps all the data locally — history, backups, audit log.
Your miners are never reachable from the internet: axeos-dashboard only makes outgoing HTTPS requests, authenticated by your API key. And hashboard only keeps today's and yesterday's readings.
Check it for yourself
axeos-dashboard is open source (MIT): the code that prepares each push is public on GitHub, and every change to these settings is written to its audit log.
